The New Church Austin Community

Welcome! You have reached the website of New Church Austin. We are a community of Christians, dedicated to being servants of God. What exactly does that mean? It means we believe that the best way to live is to live in a daily, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that the two greatest commandments are these: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and soul and strength” and “Love other people just as much as you love yourself” We work together as a community of Christians to do our best to follow these commandments.

Members of the New Church Austin community seek to be living examples of God’s grace, mercy, kindness and love. Our sermons are biblically accurate, and apply to real-life situations. We developed our internal ministries to offer spiritual solutions to real-life problems. Our ministries offer practical help to anyone in pain or in need.

We would love to meet you. We get together for an informal social time every Friday night from 7-9PM at Pastor Mike’s house. Dinner is provided and children are always welcome. Our worship services are every Sunday afternoon from 4:00-5:30 PM.

• understand that God created all of us and we are all precious to Him
• are willing to read and discuss the Bible with an open mind
• are willing to obey God’s commandments as best they can
• are willing to regularly participate in ministry to the community
• have a vision for seeing America become a better nation by helping people understand the benefits of obeying God's commandments
• are willing to help others, regardless of their beliefs or ethnicity

There are many excellent Christian churches in the greater Austin area Whether you live in Williamson, Travis or Hays county, there is an outstanding church near you. So, why should you check us out? Because every church has a unique function, a unique culture and a unique way of doing things. In other words, no two churches in this town are exactly alike. Thank God for that. If we were all the same, life would be very dull indeed.

One of the keys to joyful Christian living is to find a church where you can use your experience, skills and talents to help reach people for Christ. How do you find a good fit for yourself, and your family? By visiting the church, talking to the pastor and hanging out with the members. So, come on over already.
