Tough Questions

Anytime someone makes truth claims we are obligated to ask the tough questions to examine the data and decide if the evidence is sufficient to prove the claim to your satisfaction.  The Bible makes the most outrageous truth claims imaginable. Claims about Jesus Christ (e.g., that He is God; that He alone forgives sin; that He is the only way to God ), claims about life and death, and what God can do for you and me (give peace, purpose and power for living).

Outrageous claims... unless of course, they are true. C.S. Lewis in his book, Mere Christianity, says that Christ's claims leave us only three alternatives. Someone who makes those kinds of claims is either a pathological liar, a lunatic with terrible delusions, or, just possibly, in light of His words and life, who He claims to be.

If you are searching for peace and meaning in life you owe it to yourself to be intellectually honest and investigate the evidences for the claims of Christ. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence.

Here are some of the tough questions people ask and some reasoned answers... Some of these answers take you to other websites, so just hit your “back” button to get back to this page.
